I refuse to order from Alchem anymore....it took them 4 months to send me (2) delrin roller nuts.

Sorry, but that ain't so good!

    Anyway...anyone used Slobows before?

    OR

That being said....does anyone have a steel prod in the 170-200# range they would be willing to sell me??

I've seen good comments about slobows. But ask what's in stock rather than just ordering. Don't have any steel prods but a fiberglass tension bar laminate prod is over 200# draw, adjustable downward...

I have an order in with slowbow for a 250#. I gather it has shipped cheers ...will post some pics when it gets here.

I also have an order in with http://www.binghamprojects.com/ for a couple of pieces of their Powertuff glass. I want to make some kind of modern crossbow with it, maybe a reverse draw Scorpyd type thing.

Yeah, he is great with the communication!

I ordered a SB113 from him and it arrived this past Tuesday! 200 lovable, deer killing pounds!

    New Slowbow prod SB113

    250 lbs (untested)
    Length 72.5 cm
    Center 4.4 cm
    tips 1 cm
    weight 806 grams

I'm unsure if the abrupt angle of the recurve is good. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Nothing wrong with the angle to my eye. Similar to some of the Asian "horsebows".
