    New guy from Vancouver Island

Post by twedzel on Sun Jan 12, 2014 5:11 pm

A quick intro, I am a middle aged guy with serious problem of tinkeritis. DIY should be three letters banned from my vocabulary, or so says my wife like girlfriend. Right now I have a life long passion with the middle ages that is directly colliding with a passion for hunting.

Welcome, twedzel. Wait a minute, 41 is middle aged? Then I'm way overdue for a midlife crisis!

I figure 82/2 = 41, of course by that logic my grandpa was middle aged by his late 20's, so really it is all relative! Maybe I am being pessimistic, my grandma lived to be almost 100... which could explain why I still don't feel the need to buy a sports car.

DIY are my middle initials!  I'm 65 and consider myself only middle aged!

What part of The Island are you from? I have some friends who lived in Port Alberni.

We live just outside Duncan, er I mean North Cowichan (it seems no one wants to admit to living in Duncan).
