    First topic message reminder :

Reverse bow system has many advantages besides classic crossbow:
-center of gravity of the crossbow is exactly in the middle
-Is much narrower, it can maneuver more easily
    -no shock at shooting
-in a relatively short crossbow very long Power Stroke.
    -long Power Stoke- higher speed.

    Materials

    materials we need to build
    - aluminum-plate 8 mm
    - leaf spring 6mm
    -hardwood
    -bowstring materials
    perseverance Very Happy

Thanks for posting that Patandjali! Great job on the crossbow and very nice video! The shot sounds very quiet in the video and it is obviously very accurate. A truly deadly weapon.

That is a deadly looking head! Again I am amazed at the quality of the work you do. And the great video!
What holds the blades in place prior to and during the shot? Just friction from a tight fit?

dear patandjali With your help and Information  you sharing. i made a rdt like your crossbow. is 190  lbs and can shot a 31 grams arrow at 350 fps. thank u

One of the reasons for the superiority in rdt sistem is bog cams. very big cams.
a normal crossbow cam and a rdt  crossbow.cam ( Both  cam made by your helps and plan )

in classic compound crossbow cant use big cam bicause Pull over- During  tension (The distance between Bowstring and trigger relser )  is Reduced  . but in rdt sistem we have big cam and  During high tension. This is the  rdt secret behind

Post by c sitas Sun Dec 07, 2014 12:14 pm

When you look at your cams, they seem like a regular compound bow. Would they be the same ,only you draw them in reverse? Do they start real hard? Sure like your work.

Excellent work guys; These are very impressive. I'm currently working on my own RDT crossbow, but with a different focus; trying to make it magazine-fed and as light/narrow as possible. Do you have any tips or unique challenges you ran into with the reverse limbs?

    Thanks!
