The shorter daughter wanted a bow too. Little claplock and oak with the 80# 'mini-crossbow' prod.
She did most of the work, including the morticing!

Funny thing, I'm the leftie, but she shoots left Both daughters are rightie, actually. Svensk  on her mom's side Norske on mine. We play in an Irish band, I joke that while my ancestors don't have any Irish blood, the Irish have some of my ancestor's. Odd thing about the band, only two are Irish at all, 2 Norwegians, a Svenske, Brazilian, and Puerto Rican round out the mix.

We shoot at Nock and Feather in Aurora, you should join us some time. They open at 430 for the after work crowd. $5 you can shoot all day.

Ed-- they sell the mid range PSE crossbows, so I think they welcome all. Seeing as they allow compound bows I would imagine they take whatever you bring. I wish they would replace the backstop, it is getting pretty worn out. It is made of MDF. I might offer to do it in trade for a year's shooting.

Hermit- I'll meet you in Edmonton. It is only 26 hours from here.

Cool. Living in a townhome I don't have a back yard and have been aching to get my Penetrator out to shoot it.
