    Dose the grove on the crossbow run from the prod to the roller nut (front end to roller nut)?
    A picture showing the grove would be very helpful to me. Can't wait till this first build is done so I can take pic to show every one.

    Yes, the groove runs from the front edge of the roller nut socket to the nose end of the tiller (which is usually beyond the prod, as you'll see in my avatar picture).

    On the Padre Island bow, the bolt-groove fades away to nothing an inch or so ahead of the roller-lock. I've handled the remains of the two bows in the Corpus Christi (Tex) Museum of Science and History. Geezer
