    Hi! I recently made a video of myself shooting at 2 mm steel plate. Later I shoot from range of 65 meters.

    I can't write Russian, I think that's the language here. One thing for sure ,my friend. You don't need any shooting lessons. Nice machine and your very accurate with it. Job well done. How heavy are the points? Also   about, how much are you spanning here?

    Thanks citas! Yes I speak Russian ) The exact weight of entire bolts is 58 gram. Draw weight is ~ 130 kg. with 17 cm draw length. By the way I shot at metal plate with the "whistling bolt", that was made from hardened steel ) Although it didn't actually whistle, it made some noise while flying, but thats not in the video.

    Yes I do! I use steel rods 12 mm diameter and 55 mm length. I drill a hole in one side of it (some 15 mm deep) for the shaft of the bolt. The tip of the shaft that enters bolt point is made thinner than the rest of the shaft (also 12 mm dia).

    Me; very nice . Looks like you have a handle on machine work also. Man, those things sure hit hard. It would not even be a challenge  for the killing power here. Man or beast.What material are the bolt shafts? Appears as 2 fletch, right?

    Those were some nice long range shots. How much were you having to aim above the plate to hit it from that distance?

    Well, it all depends on your line of sight, and therefore on how you hold the stock and its shape. In the video I hold it in two ways. When I shot at metal plate from some 10 meters I used classical method, when you press the tiller against your cheek. In this case the point of the bolt should be slightly below the target. At 25-30 meters you aim directly at the target. At more than 50 meters you have to aim so much above that you already cannot see the target itself, as it hides below bolt. So I press the tiller against shoulder, like a rifle. This way I still match the bolt point with the target and hit it, because I "lifted" my line of sight.
