I'd like to know what everybody has to say about this thing:http://diyworkplace.com/31-spring-crossbow.html

It is a useable concept for one of the projects I might make.

Replacing the strings with rubber, and eliminating some of the unneeded weight, do yout think it could shoot fast?

Interested in your thoughts, curious if the pulley system is advantageous.

Looks like a very complex bit of work to make a shooting machine, but if you're having fun, fly at it!  Geezer.

I suppose so, I'd probably just make it, and use it in the the pipe crossbow design that I mentioned in my last post.
