    Entry level Tig welder

Post by jake-owa on Wed Nov 10, 2010 1:23 am

Maybe this isn't the place for this but I was wondering if anyone has any advice for someone looking to buy a tig welder for crossbow making. I don't think I need anything industrial but I am out of my element when it comes to welding equipment.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Harbor Freight Tools has one for $399. You won't get one cheaper. All the TIGs run on 230v. If you don't have 230, get a MIG. Northern tool sells Hobart MIGs. Hobart is actually made by Miller, but has less frills.
