First, I am not concerned with historical accuracy, but I am concerned about hunting and shooting accuracy.
That being said, I have 3/8" and 11/32" diameter shafting, oak and ash respectively.
What is going to be superior?
11/32" would be easier to make as all of my broad heads and small game heads are for 11/32", but I can switch over no problem.
What concerns me is being able to taper them properly for broad heads...I already have a woodchuck taper grinder.
His concerned should I be about spine?
Thoughts?
