    Hello, everybody!

I am a long time fan of archery, though have had far less range time than I would like over the years. I have built several bows and crossbows for a local LARP that has specific construction requirements owing to the type of ammunition they use. I am moving (and dragging my LARP buddies along for the ride) from 100% PVC frame construction to the much sturdier and better looking traditional wood stocks with fiber prods.

In my browsing of the site so far, I can see there is a wealth of info and experience on hand that I am sure to be tapping into from time to time if/when I build myself into a corner. I have a prototype in progress and plenty of changes in mind for a first revision already, and I'm sure I'll be posting some pics for ridicule comments and suggestions at some point, along with a more in-depth description of the ammo-of-choice for this group as well.

Anyway, psyched to be here! Very Happy
