    Hello from Balbi!

    Hello Gentlemen,
I'm really enjoying the info and photos on the site so far, great skills and knowledge.
My Uncle built me a simple crossbow one afternoon and I guess is remained in my subconscious for forty years.
Now I have the time (and recently the tools) to build my own, I can't wait to get shooting.

    Cheers from Balbi.

Hello balbi and welcome to The Arbalist,

I share the same mental imprint with you... when I was much younger I made things with my grandfather...kites, fishing gear, and of coarse small weapons like slingshots/blowguns and the like. It had left such a great impression on me that to this day I believe that "All genius is Simple"...and it is actually with this experience of genius simplicity the kids(and later adults) mind is able to tap into it's full potential later in life.

I hope you like it here balbi...I welcome you! sunny
