I'm new to this forum but not new to crossbows.

My first experience with them was before I was even in pre-school when I hung out with my crazy neighbors and we built crossbows out of sticks and used nails with string attached as a trigger.

since then I've gone from sticks to PVC limbs then making my own out of the spring-like steel from saw blades, to just buying prods online. Kindof like my own evolution of man.

I have a few crossbow pistols with rotating nuts that I've made and of course own one of those chinese/taiwan (whatever they are) 120 pound 90 dollar crossbows that everybody owns.

Right now I'm in the process of building what I hope is gonna be a pretty sic modern crossbow that I'll make a post for.

Ivo is a bud of mine (or at least I think so) so I thaught I'd join his guild.

    Thanks for havin me and

    P.S.

    These smileys are awesome! jocolor

    Haha! This guy! jocolor

I wanted to welcome you yesterday, but my phone died and I have no computer at home. It's damn good to see you here, man!!! Feel right at home, good helpful people here that I'm sure you will enjoy learning from...and quite a few that will have a blast learning from you too, I've posted some of your builds around the site - you have some fun ideas (sometimes even genius). Smile

    Hey there, and welcome!

Pretty cool place for us incurable builders of all things that shoot sharp pointy things really fast. Even as a kid I wasnt happy with a normal slingshot made from the crotch of a tree, and I guess that started it.

Got a few bows myself. Looking around my living room I count one regular crossbow, a DTM355, and four torsion proto's. I dropped off two more for testing this morning with a friend. Today I am waiting on the UPS guy to gimme my Telson 130.

Lotta nice talent here and a lot of good information, friendly folks.
