New project - four shot crossbow revolver

Post by JoergS on Sat Oct 29, 2011 8:13 am

One of the advantages of rubber powered crossbows is that they are very narrow.

I had a lot of success with my 8 shot gatling slingshot, which fires 20 mm steel balls.

Now I am thinking about a much more compact four shot crossbow, firing full size arrows. Pulling the oversized trigger would rotate the "drum" and launch the topmost arrow.

What do you think about that concept?

Very interesting indeed . What kind of rubber are you going to use for this to go over the very long draw length needed usually by sling shot rubber?
