    4 fletch question

Post by huntsmanlance on Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:06 am

Hey all !!! I am thinking about trying 4 fletch and i have a few questions....does the spine of the bolt alignment have any effect? Or can you slap any of the feathers into the groove?

And would putting two of the fletches further up from the bolt end than the other two work? Or would it make the bolt spin incorrectly???

    Thanks!

The spine shouldn't have an effect so go ahead and place any feathers in the groove.

Putting some of the fletches forward won't have a negative effect. I do it on some of my bolts so the third fletching doesn't interfear with the bolt clip.
