    Crossbow Quiver Empty Crossbow Quiver

Here are a couple photos of my new leather quiver for my World crossbow. One of my hobbies is making gunbelts, holsters, etc from leather. I decided to make my quiver. It isn't quite finished. I still have to make the belt hanger straps and put a finish on it.

Very nice job on the leather work Crossfire! Very Happy

I've never really worked with leather(well I did make some new holes in my belts as I grew up, but that another story) Laughing This is really new to me, so if you would be kind enough to share a bit of the process of how it's done as I have some leather prepared, but don't know from which end to approach the project...may be there is some literature you can recommend on the subject?

Again very nice job that is breathing with experience. Very Happy

I use up a ton of poster board and scotch tape making my patterns. I start with an idea, usually from something I have seen from some period or just want to experiment with. I usually use 1/4 inch stitch seams and I allow for that in my patterns. Start drawing, cutting, fitting and taping the thing together until it works. It's cheaper to use poster board than leather to try ideas. the stitching is the standard 2 needle saddle stitch and I use a good grade of contact cement. Barges if I can get it. The stitching holes are done with an awl or a 1/16th drill bit. I prefer to use the awl as it is neater and period correct. A razor knie is what I use to cut the leather. Tandy Leather Factory is where I get most of my supplies. Call them and ask for a catalog. There are plenty of suppliers on line. It's the same as building a crossbow. Work it out and make your own pattern if you can't find one. Sometimes you will find someone that has a similar pattern you can get. If you can measure accurately you can build anything you want. Go for it.
thanks for the reply. If I can help, don't hesitate to contact me at:
