Looks good, especially since you used recycled material, How many pound pull does it have,?, how long is the leaf spring ? does your leaf spring have a hole in the center ? were's a good place to get a leaf spring, junk yard auto parts supply ???

WOW! This one to my eyes looks great! This leaf spring looks more like the real deal than anything I have seen so far from this country. In fact, it got me to remembering the spring shops I used to have work done on my cars. You know if you live in a bigger city that has a "spring shop" especially were they work on tractor trailer rigs, I know they could cut from stock any size bow you could ask for even with out that 'dreaded hole' . After you had the ends machined for the string knocks, they could re-temper the spring for you if you thought it was needed.
This one really has me going... I think I have to go back to making stuff again and a 'cross bow' is it! The trigger geometry was always the thing that stopped me from it before in the past. I knew instinctively thirty years of experience was necessary to get it right, but now I can copy mine that "Geezer" made for me. Ha! look out guy's, the old craftsman is at it again!
