Howdy all! I actually stumbled across this while researching a pump action crossbow I found the design for online (old Popular Mechanics, I think)and looking at the Slingshot Channel on Youtube, and realized this would be a treasure trove of information and a lot of fun!
I am actually a gunsmith, being both a former US Army small arms repair technician and having worked on airsoft guns for the last 8+ years professionally, so getting into crossbows seemed like a natural extension for me.
Looking forward to learning a lot, and hope that I can eventually contribute as well!
