Hey all this is a pretty great site you guys got going here, I've taken a look around and I'm really impressed with the work you guys have done.

My name is Jeremy, and I'm from Fredericton New Brunswick,Canada. I've been making longbows for about a year and a half but have always had the itch to build crossbows.

Anyway I plan on doing some serious reading over the next few days, and hopefully I'll have my own project to show off soon enough.

well while the intros are goin round I'm Grey, Providence, RI, just now making my way into crossbow making. Been itching to do one for some years, and finally have the time/space/money to do so. Been making swords and knives, and armor for about a decade now, so I figure this is a logical step. I like the look of everyone's work, which by the way, I am going to be stealing some great ideas! Looking forward to posting my new project(s) soon. Nice to meet y'all

Welcome to u too! Nice to add another smith to the collection! just making my first field-forge as we call a mobile forge. I'll be having loads of questions in the future. Hope u dont mind... Anyway, lots to see around here. Check my topic on the medieval "halbe rüstung", i believe it has turned out nice. Stealing ideas is no problem i guess, look around, u will see lots of it happening.
