    This is not meant to a sales pitch, just information. If you are wanting to build a basic crossbow but lack the machine tools to make your own trigger this may be a good option for you. It is a basic roller nut and trigger, no safety, and works well on bows up to 150 lb. Maybe much higher but it has only been tested to 150. It uses a Delrin nut with steel striker plate and a steel trigger.

    Gnome, I hope that is next. I really like my "improved" version but I know it is not historically accurate. It is going slow because I have to work it in to my son's machine shop work load. Crying or Very sad And he has had a lot of work lately. tongue I may eventually get him to do a run of each type, traditional and "improved".
    The good thing is that he and his partners are getting the crossbow building fever so I am sure there is more to come. Just wish I could speed it it up!
