Limbs- from and old compound bow (Continetal-small company now out of business)
stock/tiller- scrap pressure treated 2 x 4 that is well weathered
nut- scrap piece of walnut with 1/8" steel epoxied in for the sear
nut side plates- "teco" plates (used in home and wood deck projects)
tickler/trigger- cut from 1/4" angle iron
riser- 1 1/2" angle iron with wood filler pieces
arrow guide- 2 round head wood screws set 1/2" apart at end of stock
All made from materials I already had lying around.
Draw weight an estimated 130 pounds with a 8" power stroke.
shoots the 450 grain bolts @ 173 fps.
Needless to say I did not put a lot of effort into this just did it for practice until I get my stuff from Alchem.
