    Hi Everyone,
    I have some feathers, some leather, some veneer, and some bamboo, I don't have any heads.  Anyone make their own bolt-heads for target and 3-D shooting?  If so, how?

    I've seen people use a metal tube to use as the socket you can make a sleeve out of the front of the bolt so it fits flush. But also for the actual head you can get a piece of metal round bar the same size as the inner diameter of the tube decide how long you want it cut it. Drill a hole through both the socket and the bar so you can put a rivet through it. Another thing either before or after make the head of the arrow head sharp you can use a lath, a belt sander or etc.

    I forged some bodkin heads from rebar Smile ...blacksmithing opens up a lot of options, but there is definitely a learning curve involved, too.
