    Hey everyone
    I bought a 80 pound fiber glass prod off ebay after stringing it and drawing it back 8cms the inside of the prod started to crack\flake and make cracking sounds is this a dodgy prod?

    I've never had that experience with a FB prod, so yeah, that doesn't sound good at all. Especially the cracking sound part. I've gone through a few of these and sometimes there's chipped or scratched paint, but what you describe sounds like it's a goner. Hope you didn't pay too much, or that you can get a refund or replacement!

    from what i can see it looks like it was strung backwards or forced over something that damaged it in an attempt to string it. with the cracking noises i'd have to say it was flexed the wrong direction. i'd return it for a refund.

    Yeah it only cost me 10bucks from the US i also got a 50 pound steel prod which im going to use instead bought it as a backup lucky me and ive sent the guy i bought it off a message with the same pic prob get a refund or replacement ether way it doesn't halt my new build.
