I`m thinking of doing a compact version of the split limb set-up as on the Exomag cross bow.
Any thoughts, suggestions, advantages/disadvantages.?? I breifly looked around the forum but found nothing pertaining to this subject.
With the exception of the limbs(possibly fiberglass) I`d do most with wood with maybe a medieval flair, or pistol gripped sport-er.
The brackets/yokes that hold the limbs on the Exomag are obviously synth. or alum., do you think if they were designed with a good hard wood incorporated into the stock(as opposed to being bolted on) they`d be strong enough.
cheers
