    Does anyone have any photos of the Skane lockbow, or a really accurate set of measurements? I have the archaeological drawing (after Alm?) and a set of measures posted here: https://thearbalistguild.forumotion.com/t1616-lillohus-crossbow

    I don't know if the Swedish forum  (http://armborst.forum24.se/armborst-about42.html ) has been taken down but I have not been able to get it to work.  

    Does anyone know which museum the crossbow is in?  An accession number would be very useful.

    What measurements do you need?  Are you looking to be an exact replica, or simply a Skane lock bow?

     From the measurements we posted back in 2017  you should be able to scale things from the archeological drawings without much trouble.

    As close to exact as I can get. Photos add a different dimension from drawings and measurements.  As for measurements, I like thickness and width at centre and tips and every 10cm out from the centre with cross-sections at tip limb centre and bow centre. An end to end video sweep front and back is useful if a full 3D scan is not available.
