    Greetings to the Forum, I've been messing with crossbows since childhood. I discovered Alchem and bought a few prods and bow irons, I was having a good time shooting my bows along side my house into my back yard.

    Then, They, decided to build condos in the large field in back of my
    yard. Two stories high that looked into my yard, so I quit shooting. The
    police look at crossbows the same as handguns, even 15th century replicas.

    So now we live in Corvallis Oregon, I'm hoping to find some crossbow shooters near by.

    Welcome, Jim.  Sorry I can't help with local shooters.  When I lived in Salem I wasn't doing any archery...  You could always take a canoe or kayak and head up or down river to some wild spot where no one will bother you.
