    Good Day Forum!

This is a collection of quick tutorials on uploading your videos to youtube, embedding them in your posts, and more.

First is the Registration. Can't do anything without a Youtube account, so go ahead and register on Youtube.

    * Helpful Tip: If you already have a G-mail account it's even easier since you can just log in with it on youtube and the two accounts will be linked automatically saving you lots of time.

Next...might as well setup your Youtube Channel the way you like it.

And once you're all set, you're ready for your first video upload.

Hope you got it figured out right away because I'd think twice about asking serial mom to explain again. silent Laughing

To embed a video in your posts here on the forum you will need to follow a procedure similar to one you use to post images.

The most important moment here will be to access the full version of the Reply window as Qucik Reply that most of you use doesn't have all the "cool" options (one of which is for posting videos).

    • To do that you either click
      Uploading & Posting Videos Add_re10.
    • Another way of getting there is type up your post in the Quick Reply window and press Preview.

You should now be at this screen.

    Uploading & Posting Videos Post_b10

Next you will need to examine the row of buttons right above the text entry window and locate one that looks like a little film reel slide.

    Uploading & Posting Videos Add_vi10

    * Imprtant: Make sure to click in the text entry window, specifically where you want your video to appear. This will place the cursor and serve as a marker for the next step.

Now go ahead and click the video button, a text box will appear. There you will need to paste the URL of the video that you want to appear in your post. Press Ok and let the button do it's work.

What it does is basically wraps your URL in youtube tags which signals the forum to apply the embed code turning the address into a video.

    Code:
    [youtube] Video URL [/youtube]

That's it, its really only a couple of clicks.

Anyway, hope this little topic helps you with your videos. Post some videos guys! Smile

    Haha, No sweat.

How did you like that serial mom tutorial video...man I hope no one is insulted. I just thought it was kinda funny...creepy kind of funny... Laughing

I think we should do some off topic threads like funny pictures/videos etc. There is some hilarious stuff on the net plus it'll be a good place for some picture/video posting practice. Cool

That is funny, Little weird but funny. Beats a dry explanation.

Off topic thread for funny stuff is good. Now were did I put that video?
