Posting pics here is confusing! Here is a link to Hickory board cross bow I posted on Paleoplanet. I can shoot full size arrows, lots of fun.
Cross bow weighs a total of 4 lbs and stock / tiller can be taken down.
Prod is 62" ntn and recurved, 80 lbs at 27" . Stock / tiller is 4 ft long.
Easy to span even sitting down. Long prod is much more practical than I would have thought. My 600 lb cross bow weighs 13 lbs with spanning lever. cheers fiddler49
