    Hey guys,

I'm planning on making this crossbow.
i saw an earlier discussion in this forum.
A selfspanning crossbow in the Loeffelholz MS - Page 2 (forumotion.com)
    they're talking about CAD drawings.
do you know if anyone or those drawings were ever sent?
if someone has something, will they share it with me?

I'd love to hear from you!

There's a recent post here about a "simplified Loffelholtz speedloader".  Not a replica, but a similar construction. Use the Search function here.

I was thinking more about a drawing with more dimensions.  I thought a few people already made one

The discussion you linked is the best one I know of.  Some on here do use drawings but most of us do not .  The comments about matching draw length to bow and components to draw weight are all correct and are good reasons why someone else’s drawing might not be too helpful.  Having said all that, I like a sketch or two to see how someone else dealt with things so hopefully that someone will chime in

I thought I’d seen one somewhere.  The group  Andreas Bichler is involved with have built one you can see it at https://www.historiavivens1300.at/realia_1500.html

I often check out their gallery - best collection of replica European crossbows I know of.  Use their contact form
