Hello fellow arbalest makers!
I studied the crossbow under the punishing stare and strong hand of Master Iolo of New World Arblalest. Some of you out there know me in the SCA circles as an armourer, siege engineer, and crossbowmaker. Iolo invited me here to this round table of craftsmen, and I am honored to be here. My website at www.stormthewalls.kicks-ass.net is down at present and will be up in about a month or two, after I get back from vacation and a month's work in Tennessee. If you want to contact me, feel free at ksuleskiREMOVETHIS@comcast.net. I still make the occasional crossbow for a customer, but have been active as a machinegunner and motorcycle rifleman in the Wehrmacht for WWII reenactment recently. Weapons from all periods interest me, and probably have owned or played with most of them at one time, from the sling to the Greek ballista to the MG-42.
