I must be an idiot
I cannot attach photos on my posts here from my photo file like I do on other forums. Help! I also cannot add my "moon" avatar.
BTW, thanks for the info on Tinker. His lock/tickler unit is the one I was looking for.

Hi Moon, not a problem.
For pictures use this tutorial >>> Link
...and to change your avatar simply go to your "Profile" and at the top there will be a section "Avatar"...it does seem to blend in and people miss it occasionally...I'll see if I can make some bigger buttons for these sections.

Can't teach an old dog new tricks
I think it's true. I'll spend some time with it tonight.
I'd like to get started here by conveying my efforts to make older traditional archers and bowhunters aware that there is no need to give up flinging arrows and bowhunting when, and if, they get to a point they cannot draw heavy hunting weight vertical long bows and recurves anymore. I have several threads ongoing on other crossbow sites on this subject and I'm having a ball preparing for my first hunting season with a 15th century medieval crossbow. Should be interesting.
