A little venting here first off.....i placed an order for a claplock and trigger that was suspossedly in stock and after three and a half weeks was told that a batch was going to be finished this thursday and i should get mine shipped out on friday.....but i just dont believe it.

Soooo.....does anyone have any info on making a claplock or is there a how to anywhere on line? or even some really good detailed pics so i could figure it out?

and Mac....thank you for the pics in my last post about claplocks....i think i could make one by looking at those but was hoping there was someone with info on how to make them step by step to save me the head aches of trial and error!!! Making a claplock??? 602584

That is frustrating to hear that is has taken so long. Get everything ready to get started and no materials. Making a claplock??? 186986 I feel your pain.

Don't really have much more to add other than that. Hopefully the rest of project goes smoothly now that you have gotten the glitch out of the way. Laughing

Gallweys book, "The Crossbow' pg 210-212 shows detailed drawings of a clap lock and set trigger. Might be able to get springs from Track of the Wolf or other black powder supplier.http://www.trackofthewolf.com/Index.aspx
