I would like to offer my services building laminate crossbow prods. I can't give a simple price list since there are too many variables involved. I can build single or split limb prods based on your custom bow's needs. Let me know what you need, recurve or straight, what style or look you are after and I will do my best to help you find a workable solution for your bow. I have built 10 bows with what I consider to be permanent bows of Osage, hickory, bamboo and even exotic hardwoods.
I specifically love to build fiberglass backed bows. I can do bows of many laminates with a core riser and tips or heat recurved solid wood bows backed with hickory. These can be further backed with sinew or your choice of material and retillered accordingly.
I am very open to trades for metal parts and wood stock and tools. I have many projects that need specialty metal parts built. I get tired of seeing the same old fiberglass bows on so many really nice crossbow projects. I will offer a replacement guarantee based on the honor system to any trusted member of this site. If you use it as specified and it fails I intend to build bows in pairs so as to always have a replacement unit immediately available. I might, after a period of use, ask for materials cost to be covered but my primary concern is that your crossbow gets the prod that will work for it's life.
Let's build beautiful, effective, fun crossbows that stand the test of time together.
