    little slurbow

Post by jeep on Wed Jun 19, 2013 4:05 pm

    First topic message reminder :

Last week I find a little slur bow without the bow (less then 20 buck!). All the metal parts are OK but the stock is broken and front part is missing. The way that the bow was fixed to the stock is unusual is the firs time I see such way. I just can figure the bow shape , it probably  got two part and I don't think it was very powerful. If any body have photo, info or drawing is welcom.
I intend to built a new one using the old parts. I still don't know wich bow I will ad.Here sone pictures, first a very unusual trigger set.

General view with the rope slot.

So the rebuilding story is over. It 's been a lot of fun but not easy as usual. Some pictures: the slurbow on my stringing bench before waxing .
