Hello my fellow forumers!
Recently I made a small addition to our forum features.
It is a small field under your avatar called "Reputation".
The purpose of this feature is to give better feedback of the users post quality and over all more detailed look on the forum participation...be it good or bad - It will show.
In the top right corner of every post is a set of two reputation buttons looking like this
+ = adds 1 reputation.
If you see a post that that contains pictures, videos, files, useful links or simply useful information that adds a spark to the developing topic...it's a good time to use that button.
- = takes away 1 reputation.
If you see a post that is disrespectful, offensive, or lacking basic participation efforts(especially in response to a good informative post or topic)...you may use the - button.
This feature is available to the author of the topic only. If you, the person who started the topic, see a post that was crucial to your topic and/or has solved a problem...you may thank the member that helped you by clicking this button.
Thanks = adds 3 reputation.
Thank you button looks like this and is found in the lower right part of the posts along with the quote buttons.
You are all probably wondering "What is the best way to gain reputation?" and the answer is this...
People like to see cool things being built, thus "buildalong" topics containing detailed picture and video records of your build will quickly build-up your reputation.
Looking forward to seeing your projects!
And last but not least...
These features may not be abused to give someone a hard time. Do your best to understand the member, help him with his project, give ideas, post as much useful pictures, videos, and information as possible, but do NOT litter the topics with lectures - rubbing things in peoples faces!
I check every topic and whether I'm participating in them or not I will be on top of things...don't take it the wrong way I love a bit of arguing and you can read all about it in the rules, but keep the above in mind - you've been warned!
