Afternoon all and old xbow site

Post by ora8i on Sat Sep 24, 2011 2:04 pm

    Hi.

I'm from the UK, I found this site mainly by accident and as I used to run a crossbow site of my own I though I'd join Smile

I never did get to make a bow my interest in airguns took over and of course in the UK it's harder to find anywhere to use a crossbow that it it to find a airgun range.

I've put my old site back up for a few days in case there is any thing of interest on it, it's years and years out of date ...................

If your interested it's here:- http://eairgun.org.uk/xbow/

    Welcome ora,

Thanks for putting your old site back up for us to look over. It definitely had some good and interesting stuff in it.

If you think some of that is worth saving, like the info on the Chinese repeating crossbow, you can always migrate it over to the Crossbow Building Wiki: http://crossbow.wikia.com/wiki/Crossbow_Building_Wiki

I've added the Chinese bow to the wiki, would the locks from the modern crossbow be of interest to anybody?

The Book of the Crossbow is available ( or was) on the net from Project Gutenberg.

    Ora
