Hi all, call me Steve. I have been registered a while and had to work up the courage to do this as I have never done any forums. I have made self bows for about 8 years now, and have been making some crossbows for about two. I love the old timey stuff. I shoot longbow and crossbow in SCA, and hunt with them as well. Thanks to all for the info I have already gleaned here. Steve/stevbear

    Hello and greetings from England.
I got involved with crossbows earlier on this year as I wanted a change from shooting my trusty English Longbow.
I have an inexpensive Jaguar with a 150lb prod and an Excalibur point blanc fitted with 150lb limbs which is in the process of being modified with a wooden stock replacing the standard plastic jobby.
All my shooting is field archery at picture or 3d targets.
    So there you go,thats me
