Hello all.
My name is Peter from the UK.
Some time ago, for some reason I gained an interest in crossbows. And desided to build my own.
After many hours/weeks on the net, Researching, A few days ago I started to build the trigger mechanism!
Never worked with aluminium before, I found it very enjoyable.
My passion is wood though, and i'm looking forward to making the stock.
I have obtained a good size piece of well seasoned (opepe) an African Hardwood.
The trigger mechanism seems to be coming along well. The design has changed a few times as I hit problems, but it does the job.
It is no where near finished, because the wife keeps finding me jobs to do.
Anyway, if anyone is interested in my version of the trigger design. I'm blogging the hole crossbow build. Please take a look and leave lots of comments. (Peters Crossbow)
I only found out about this forum after IVO became a follower of my blog and invited my to join in here.
Cheers
Peter
