    My Second self made Crossbow

Post by William Tell on Fri Feb 05, 2010 2:53 pm

    Hi Y'all !,

Here is my second creation. I designed it myself and copied nothing. The stock is made of American Walnut and Oak. These stock here is in the final touch-up state before varnishing. It took me 220 man hours to carve the stock, I paid special attention to craft it as accurate as possible. will post more as work progresses.

Certainly looks like you've been busy William...this looks like it's going to be a good looking weapon. Very Happy

How did you shape it? It looks very nice and smooth...probably lots of sand paper went on that one. Smile

Interesting how you will do the rest of it, I noticed you left the part where the rail and the trigger goes unseen...I feel something interesting happening behind the scenes :frank: Laughing ...anxiously awaiting the continuation. drunken
