Revolver crossbow: Four full size arrows!

Here it is: Shoots four 31.5" arrows (broadhead ready), weighs less than 4 pounds!

Of course I will enhance the cosmetics and also increase the rubber - but it works great already.

You're videos truly put a smile on my face every time I watch them.

I was thinking. What if you install some kindof rotate and release system like your gatling slingshot in your intro video. Then... double it.

The crank will rotate two of these arrow launching, things. The ancient romans would be jelous of such enginuity. I wonder if there is some kindof wold record for most arrows fired in an aloted time.

But then theres the reload time.

I digress. This video kindof distracted me from what I came here to do and got me thinking vay vay too much. drunken

AboMickey, thanks for the kind words!

Actually, the toothbrush arrow guides work so well that you can even fire the bottom arrow without any accuracy issues. A rotation isn't necessary. A simple string type release that pulls all four triggers at the same time would send all of the arrows on their way.

What I like on this design is that it is still pretty compact. The "core" is 40x40mm spruce, the "arrow guides" are 10x20mm spruce. So the outline is just 80x80mm (about 3"). I can add more arrows, but the weapon would get more bulky and more heavy.

Made some progress... paint job done, and also I streamlined the "stock".

As you can see, there is no more room to make this any smaller. The "fork" looks a bit like an inca symbol!
