    New guy from New Mexico

Post by MatadorMac on Sat Feb 20, 2010 3:40 am

Good day. Although interested for years in crossbows from the historical and practical points of view I have not done anything other than read about them. Now I have reason to create a period accurate crossbow (ca 1540 Spanish new world) for ballistic testing purposes, not to mention for the fun of it.

I hope to learn much from this forum.

Welcome to the forum MatadorMac. I look forward to seeing your efforts. The Spanish bows were very elegant pieces, almost delicate when compared to some of the brutish stocky things made in central Europe.
