    Ten Point is TOPS Marylandbuck2

I shot this dandy 7 pointer last November with my HuntMaster crossbow. The company changed names to Ten Point shortly after opening in 1996. Last summer, a hairline crack appeared on the prod; my local bowyer suggested I send it to the factory in Ohio. They kindly replaced the prod, wheels, and string with new components for less than $250. Everything fit nicely without modifications to the stock. Now this crossbow is much faster and safer, too!

Modern compound crossbows are not for everyone. I've had very good luck with the HuntMaster but planning be shooting a medieval style crossbow before long.

Maryland is loaded with deer. You receive 10 deer tags with your license! No kidding.

    Hi Sherwood,

I hear TenPoint has very smooth triggers, but on some models if you press the trigger when the safety is "on" the crossbow fires automatically as soon as the safety is switched "off"? Did that ever happen to you?...sounds strange I know, but I know people who noticed their crossbows doing that and had to modify their triggers in order to make it function properly.
