Hey guys, is it just me, or are the rest of you getting book-reports on Arbalist guild? It's not exactly the end of the world, but can't we get this stuff removed? Geezer

Re: [solved]Book Reports
I first didn't give it much attention, but now that there is a load of topics being created...
It looks like a well disguised "spam bot" advertising "online translation services"...I'll check if these members are legit and clean the mess first thing in the morning.
Thanks for keeping watch Geezer.

Re: [solved]Book Reports
Wow that was a subtle spambot. I didn't even notice it till you mentioned something Ivo. Maybe a little too subtle but still.

Re: [solved]Book Reports
Ha, good time for a first post. Ivo, I don't know if you are able to add mods to your forum or not, but if you are, head over to startrekguide.com and look for the ban hammer(bans IP's, User names, and email addy's with only a couple clicks). Ask Sniper_E(Ed) or Stitch626(Mike) to point you in the right direction. Tell them MJ from NCM sent ya.

Re: [solved]Book Reports
A little late, but I did wan't to answer mjmh as well as others interested in the workings on our forum.
Unfortunately I can't install mods here since this forum software is a little different and is directly linked to a large network of forums run by Forumotion.com.
It's a public forum and hosting is free...don't get me wrong "free" doesn't mean "cheap".
...99% of spam is automatically blocked. Bugs are fixed within days. And it's only getting better with every update. And since the service is free...the possibility of forum being down due to my financial problems is practically elliminated....the only time it's down is when I'm doing what ever minimal programming I'm capable of. I'm done for the most part, now just messing with a few little things.
Good to be Back,
Ivo
