Hi, i am a new member here and been looking through out all the awsome builds people have made and decided i wanna try build one to. I've started doing the stock and have done the rough part of it. I am now starting on the trigger mechanism and to get the crossbow shootable to see if it works at all, and then work on the looks. The problem is that i really dont no if the trigger mechanism i have drawn up will work at all. SO maybe some kind soul could get me their oppinion. =) thanks
I'll post some pics of the stock, and the plans for the trigger mechanism.
Also, it will be powered with a 150pound glassfiber prod.

Do you have the prod already? The prod will determine the other stock measurements. Make sure you have the prod before you cut any further.

I like what I see so far. Some advice, make the trigger out of some cardboard or better yet some plywood or luan just to make sure the geometry of the parts work together as they should before making them out of metal.

Love the lines of the stock as well.

thanks, i will take your advice on doing it on plywood first. I really dont know if it will work, so better try it out on a easier meterial first. I will come back with more updates =)
    Thanks for respons!

Hello, so i havent been updating very good for the past months. I ran into some problem with the crossbow build which sat me back weeks, trying to figure out how i should proceed. I think i thought it would be easier to build really. But that wasnt the case i should admit. Well atleast i've gotten something done in the past weeks and i thought i should make a post so everyone can see:)
I have learned "ALOT" making (theese) crossbows, i took me 3 tries until i got it working but thats the way it is when you are unexperienced;/
i will definetly try build more, and to improve the looks and my triggers and all that, but i think for the first project its worth starting simple.

here is the link for the crossbow, it isnt in all the correct order. and i was bad of taking photos when i was progressing.
I also wanna credit Jasonwemp for his stock design and the where i got the nut design also.
