Ali: The weight of your cams... the pulleys on the outer ends of the bowstave/prod, is Very Critical. You want any weight out there to be as low as possible. Given availability of suitable materials, you could probably cut your cam-weight in half, which would substantially increase your performance. Geezer

The video is good, and I appreciate your making things from locally available materials.
The bolts that hold your cams in place are longer than they need to be. Cut them off flush, and the lost weight will go directly into your bolts. Higher velocity, flatter trajectory, harder hitting.

Nice work, Ali. Geezer is right about making the cams as light as possible. You may be able to find some nylon roller bearing such as those on some furniture. Also make your cams usng only 2 washers, not 4. As said above the extra energy will go into your bolts.

Hey Ali!
I like your work though the colors are not my taste (not only the blanket).
Especially the good idea with the trigger can ease work for many around here that are always searching for alternatives.
But I do have concerns, too:
To be honest what you have shown in the video when cutting out the limbs with a welding torch is one of the worst things you can to a leafspring in case you do not reharden and temper it properly.
But, as I guess do not reach critical tension (low tip movement) on the limbs everything seems fine for your purpose.
Just be sure to wear protection, keep a safety distance around and do not endanger someone when shooting.

in new crosbow proje i use an other trigger sistem. is faster reaction trigger and With very little pressure works (60 gram)

خب اینم یه پست بدون شرح تصویری. تعداد زیاد عکسها به منظور آشنایی با جزییات ساخت و مستندوار شدن پست هست. تا شاید بعد کسی بخواد بسازه روش های ساخت دستش بیاد؛ آلمینیوم آلیاژی شماره 7075 هست اهل فن میدونند یعنی سخت ترین نوع آلیاژ آلمینیوم و کارکردن باهاش باتوجه به امکانات ناچیز بنده بسیار سخت وبرای تکمیل همین یک کم دوروز وقت آزادم صرف شد.
