Hi all,
Been a while now sinse being on here, hope everyone is doing fine and keeping very well. Anyway been working on this new compound bullpup crossbow and had to take quite some time out in order to think of the best way to make this new prod/bow system. The Claw is a unique crossbow being made from American black walnut with my top rail design and Mantis trigger unit. It is winch cocked as the draw weight will be around 500lbs maybe even higher,lol. The powerstroke is 15" and the length of the bow is 35" and 18" wide so very narrow. Been working on the prod of which is laminated carbon steel and fitting the pulley's is a very demanding challenge and extremely intricate engineering work. But all going good so far. Will post phot's and a vid or two on here when completed which should be around 8 week's tme maybe sooner as i am at it full time now. Here is a drawing i did in 20019.
