Attached are some images of perhaps my favourite hornbow, kindly supplied by the Swiss National Museum and posted here with their permission. I just love the graceful lines of this bow.
Bow is 92cm wide, tiller is 85cm long and 138mm high.
length overall is 1026mm including the stirrup.
date is 1450-1470
The tiller height measurement seems to me to be far too large so I suggest it is from the top of the nut to the bottom of the tickler rather than just the height of the tiller per se.
The museum was not able to supply any additional information, it would be great if anyone out there were able to add anything
