The crossbow...What is?! Empty The crossbow...What is?!

    Post by octavioaugusto.oliveira Mon Apr 17, 2017 3:12 pm

First of all my congratulations to the people that give the Life to the Arbalist Guild in the world...
Sorry my English is not good enough to communicate, but I try hard to post here, because in spite of my age, I like to understand something about crossbows and in this forum that is possible!

Sometimes some new members or visitors that came here are very young and think to get some acknowledgement before to buy a crossbow...and I believe some of them understand French...

Well I am Portuguese, but a long time ago at Portugal, we learned that language at school. I have the idea to post this my blog...in French more easy to me...

Please tell me if I made a mistake or not...
    Regards
    Octávio Oliveira

    Hello Andy

As matter of fact...first I wrote this blog in my language...after I updated it but ...in French. Your praise...or promotion to a member of Arbalistopedia encourage me to make another version...in English. Why not?! It is a question of time...I am a old man (80 years old)

    Thanks a lot Andy

    Excellent blog, Octavio Augusto.

I see that hunting with a crossbow is legal in Portugal, unfortunately here in France it is banned...your school French is very good, you must have had a fine teacher.

    Good Evening Jocky

Thank you very much for your nice evaluation concerning my blog! Well, a comment like yours it is a challenge to me, to built another version, but now in English Language...
Well here in this forum everybody writes in English, but you as I see knows French. I learned it at secondary school a long time ago. After the war in our colonies (I served in Air Force...) Leaving the military life I stayed one year working at IBM...in France (Paris). Sometimes I visit that wonderful country!

It was great to communicate with you

    Have a nice Week End
