Crossbow get together in Pennsylvania

Hello All,

There has been interest in a gathering of crossbow enthusiasts shown on this forum.
So in response, on behalf of the PA Crossbow Federation (PCF) and Kodabow, i am pleased to announce that on July 7th, starting at 10:00 AM, there will be the PCF/Kodabow Open House.
Rain date has been set for the following Sunday, July 8th (1:00 PM)

The main activities are as follows:

1) Kodabow presentation and short factory tour

2) "Thomas Jefferson" 5 X 5 X 50 Shoot-- Shoot 5 arrows at a distance of 50 yards at a nickle-sized 5 spot target.
The winner will receive a custom ceramicturkey call and a Kodabow T-shirt. Plus, he/she will receive recognition as the First Annual PCF/Kodabow Winner.
Rests, monopods, bipods- all permitted
*Contest to begin at 11:00 AM-- ends at 11:45 AM- depending on number of participants

3) Following the shoot, there will be a cook out featuring hamburgers, hotdogs, corn-on-the-cob, potato salad, cole slaw and refreshments.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP by July 2nd. We need an accurate head count so there will be enough food and beverages.

That sounds like a lot of fun, Todd. Unfortunately, I have too much going on to make this. My parents in law live in Easton, so I do travel to PA at least twice a year, so wherever in PA it is, it wouldnt be that bad a trip. Do you plan to enter the contest?

Sounds like fun! I think that's about a 3 hour drive for me, I'll have to see if I can work it out.

I do plan to enter the contest just to see how my claplock crossbow does.



West Chester is west of Philadelphia, only about an hour or so from where I live.



I believe it is mostly geared towards crossbow hunters but I think it will be a great opportunity for others to see something other than mass produced equipment.



I do feel it will be nice to go on a tour of the factory!
